SoundWord Entertainment, the parent company of SoundWord Music, an independent record label based in New Haven, Connecticut, has unveiled a new website geared toward selling digital download music, and distribution. The website which was developed by Suomedia; a Sydney Australia based eCommerce, content management software, web development and applications, and web programming company for businesses around the world is in the like of itunes, rhapsody, and amazon music. Since 2002, SoundWord Entertainment has been assisting independent artists, songwriters, and musicians to develop their talents, publish, produce, and market their music. According to Jo Bray, CEO of SoundWord Entertainment, this new download site will help the company to empower artists to reach a broader fan base for their music. SoundWord Entertainment is now inviting artists to log on to the SoundWord Media site at www.soundwordmedia.com to create an account, upload their music and start selling their music. The service is FREE for musicians to set up an account profile and upload their music/mp3s. To set up an artist account, just click the ARTISTS/LABEL button on the site menu and follow the link to set it up. The process is also simplified as much as possible to make it simple for artists to be up and running on the site in no time, but if artists have any questions, they may contact support for assistance.
